Most mail clients are similar in how they are setup. The basic information you need to input into these clients are listed below.
    Your Name
    Email Address
    Account Type (Usually IMAP)
    Incoming Mail Server
    Outgoing Mail Server
User Name (Usually auto fills as Email Address)
    Password

More Settings > Outgoing Server - Check box for Outgoing Server SMTP requires authentication. (If your mail provider requires it as stated below)
Advanced Tab is where you set the ports and whether to use Standard/SSL/TLS protocols
    Most common settings are:
Incoming Server (POP): 995 or (IMAP): 993
    Use SSL
Outgoing Server (SMTP): 465 or 587 <= I have marked the ports in Green to which have personally worked for me on a basic computer system.
    Use SSL or TLS

GMAIL
POP3 Server: pop.gmail.com - Port: 995 - Authentication: SSL
IMAP Server: imap.gmail.com - Port: 993 - Authentication: SSL
SMTP Server: smtp.gmail.com - Port: 465/587 - Authentication: TLS
Requires Authentication: Yes

NOTES: Please make sure, that POP3/IMAP access is enabled in account settings.
Login to your account and enable POP3 and/or IMAP.
You also need to enable "less secure apps" (third party apps) in the Gmail settings:

YAHOO
POP3 Server: pop.mail.yahoo.com - Port: 993 - Authentication: SSL
IMAP Server: imap.mail.yahoo.com - Port: 993 - Authentication: SSL
SMTP Server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com - Port: 465/587 - Authentication: TLS
Requires Authentication: Yes

OUTLOOK/LIVE/HOTMAIL
POP3 Server: pop-mail.outlook.com - Port: 995 - Authentication: SSL
IMAP Server: imap-mail.outlook.com - Port: 993 - Authentication: SSL
SMTP Server: smtp-mail.outlook.com - Port: 465/587 - Authentication: TLS
Requires Authentication: Yes

NOTES: Outlook is in the process of migrating all accounts to the Office 365 servers. By Mid-2017, all accounts will be transferred. Once your account has been successfully transferred, you will need to remove and re-add via the auto account setup to add it back as an Exchange account.. Outlook.com accounts will be configured as Exchange accounts in Outlook 2007 and up. Outlook 2003 users will still need to use POP3 or IMAP and Outlook 2007 users with more than one Outlook.com or Exchange account in their profile will need to use IMAP for the additional accounts (or new profiles).
People sharing calendars or using the outlook.com address to sign into their Windows phone are still waiting to be moved (and will be moved last) but others not constrained by either of those issues are still waiting.
The above settings work with migrated Outlook.com accounts. Note that Outlook 2003 users will need to use port 35 or port 587 and SSL, not TLS, to send mail.

OUTLOOK 365

IMAP Server: outlook.office365.com - Port: 993 - Authentication: SSL

Requires Authentication: ? (Most likely Yes)

SMTP Server: smtp.aol.com - Port: 587 - Authentication: TLS
Required Authentication: Yes

MAIL.COM
POP3 Server: pop.mail.com - Port: 995 - Authentication: SSL (or Port 110 for Nonencrypted/Standard)
IMAP Server: imap.mail.com - Port: 993 - Authentication: SSL (or Port 143 for Nonencrypted/Standard)
SMTP Server: smtp.mail.com - Port: 465/587 - Authentication: TLS (or Port 25 for Nonencrypted/Standard)
